Sweet and elegant dessert which is nice and light for all doshic types to enjoy especially this is pacifying for kapha.
Baked pear,with dried apricot
2 Large pears sliced in half and deseeded
1 cup orange juice and zest
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp maple syrup
8 soaked un sulphured apricots
Coconut oil to grease dish 2L
Preheat oven 180 °C. Grease the rectangular glass dish with coconut oil.
Dice the apricots into stripes and add to the centers of the pears.
Dash the cinnamon on top.
Mix the orange juice, zest and maple syrup together.
Place the walnut into the heart of the pear and then pour over the orange juice mixture.
Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 20 mins until the pears are tender.
Spoon any juices on top and serve.
