Sweet and elegant dessert which is nice and light for all doshic types to enjoy especially this is pacifying for pitta and kapha.
Fig tart Gluten free
2 cup Almond flour
1/4 cup Coconut oil
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt
1/4 rice syrup
1 cups kefir
12 figs sliced
Sprinkle brown sugar
Preheat the oven to 170 and use baking paper on a fluted baking dish greased with coconut oil.
Add flour to a bowl with baking powder.
In a separate bowl mix wet ingredients until smooth and fluffy (make sure you have air).
Slice figs in half.
Mix wet and dry ingredient together and spoon mixture into dish.
Lay the fig with sliced side facing up in a design. Sprinkle sugar and place in oven.
Bake in the oven for 30 mins.
Wait till it cools off before you take it out of the shell. Serve with a smile.
