This is a recipe that fills  your cells  with life glowing energy.  Great take on the traditional italian dish.

Zucchini, Carrot Pasta with Tomato Sauce.

.5tsp Cayenne powder (for Kapha only)
1tsp Fresh Ginger root (for Vata and kapha)
2tsp Cumin powder
1tsp Turmeric powder
2 tsp. Fresh Basil
9 leaves Fresh Oregano
2 Carrots
1 Large Zucchini
2 Tomatoes
2 cups Steamed Broccoli
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp Himayalan Salt


  1.  Carrots and zucchini need to be spiraled, you can also use a food processor to grate.   Set aside.
  2.  Skin the tomatoes and place in the food process with a 'S' blend and add the spices and fresh herbs.
  3.  Blend on pulse and stop before they turn liquid,  keep them a title chunky.   Optionally the sauce can be warmed this will release the phytonutrients  from the cells of tomato, also good on colder days.
  4.  Pour sauce on top of the carrot and zucchini, on each plate decorate with steamed broccoli, serve and eat.
